RULES AND CONDITIONS

General

  1. Lead time will typically be 3-5 weeks but may be up to 8 weeks depending on workload and need to combine smaller loads from several locations to comprise a complete truckload of material.
  2. Bad weather and equipment breakdowns may force rescheduling.
  3. Site inspection is required prior to pick-up to inspect the load, take photographs and samples and recommend necessary adjustments so materials can be picked up.
  4. Important: We only accept polyethylene products.

Pick-up Location Requirements

The irrigation tubing/hose or tape must be on level ground and accessible to a 60 foot tractor trailer with a clearance of 14 feet and room to maneuver in and out.

Product Conditions

Preferred 

  1. Irrigation tubing/tape that is coiled or bundled drip tape are preferred. 
  2. Material that is not excessively dirty.

Required 

  1. Only Polyethylene products will be accepted. 
  2. Material must be free of trash, wood, rocks, tires and other foreign materials.
  3. If irrigation tubing/hose is coiled or bundled, it must be bound with tape or twine, not wire. 
  4. Center of coils must not be wound around metal, cardboard, sticks or other plant material. PE or PVC centers are okay as long as they are less than 4 inches in diameter.
  5. Material must not be intermingled with other debris. (PE couplers, adapters, emitters and sprinklers are okay).
  6. Plastic mulch will not be accepted.
  7. Minimum amount of material accepted in our recycling program is 4,000 pounds per site.
